1. What caused the fall?

2. Where did it happen?

3. Why did it happen

4. Get details of ALL THE FACTS as if you were sitting on a jury.

5. Collect evidence, job sites change quickly get pictures, don’t throw away the evidence ( hold on to it  so you can show your work comp adjuster)



WHY? In this case the employee fell off the ladder because a rung broke.

Turns out the ladder was defective.



The resulting work comp claim could be subrogated back to the ladder manufacturer for reimbursement thereby helping your future work comp claims experience record and protecting your insurable future.
