Following the Strong Momentum from the first Experience Conference & Exhibition in Florida this last April, The Experience Convention & Trade show Las Vegas is set and registration is open. The Florida conference welcomed over 800 participants to the new format of The Experience – technical training with live performance demonstrations and attendee participation.

The September 4-7, 2013 Experience convention and trade show will expand the performance live demonstrations and opportunities for attendees to experience the latest methods, tools and systems in the cleaning and restoration industries. REGISTRATION is now open for the Experience Convention and Trade Show. The Experience Las Vegas will feature programming in ICRA Water Damage Restoration with a house being built inside the hotel and a major Category 3 Flood occurring at the start of the show. In addition The Experience has added a new structure outside where a fire will occur with first Burning Down the House and followed by restoring its contents. Other new convention activities include:, the American Bio Recovery Association’s (ABRA) annual convention at The Experience Convention and Trade Show where participants can attend both conventions for one price, and Disaster Kleenup (DKI) will also join the program where attendees will experience six hours of expert B2B education programs.

There will be live demonstrations of cleaning including: carpet cleaning systems, area rug cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and hard surface floor cleaning. AND…The Experience will feature live restoration demonstrations including: content restoration from fire damage live demonstrations, trauma scene cleaning and working with the Las Vegas CSI, remote monitoring system demonstrations, infrared camera technology and inspection and testing instruments for water damage.

The trade show hall has been expanded to over 320 booth spaces and will include live demonstrations and presentations in a Campfire Setting.

We have expanded the program on Saturday September 7^th to include four unique educational opportunities. ICRA's Florida Conference "The Experience" - A Huge Success

The Experience Conference and Exposition was held April 18, 19 and 20, 2013 in Clearwater Beach Florida at the Clearwater Beach Hilton. The Conference and Expo featured over 100 exhibitor booths, Live demos in the exhibit hall and educational programs featuring advanced training, marketing classes, hands on cleaning and restoration programs and round table discussions. There were over 800 people in attendance and business was brisk on the trade show floor.
The new conference and expo show, The Experience included a new platform of education utilizing a combination of written materials, classroom training and hands on demonstration. The hands-on demonstrations were expanded and used to further research, teach and instruct how to apply what is learned in the classroom. An education committee is working on programming for current events and for future events. New programs will be introduced at the convention in September.
The trade shows featured manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, educators, associations, organizations and others who provided goods and services to the cleaning and restoration industry. The program featured carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, area rug cleaning, hard surface floor cleaning, sealing and restoration, inspections, water damage restoration, fire damage restoration, mold remediation, trauma scene clean-up, duct cleaning, maintenance type services, basic construction practices, business management, and marketing, training in operations and services and sales training.
The Experience announced working relationship with American Bio Recovery Association (ABRA) and Disaster Kleenup International (DKI) for future show at the Florida program. The Experience also announced there Spring dates for 2014 April 24, 25 and 26 in Dallas Texas.

CRA's SoCal Golf Tournament: The photos are in!

CRA's 1st annual SoCal Golf Tournament was deemed a success. Both sponsorships and foursomes had sold out, well before the date of the tournament. We're looking forward to next year's tournament.

Denver, CO  The International Cleaning and Restoration Association (ICRA)  will, work together with the American Bio Recovery Association (ABRA) and the Disaster Kleenup International (DKI) to present The Experience, Conference and Exhibition, taking place at the LVH Hotel and Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada September 4-6, 2013. The Conference will feature training on business growing skills, interactive hands-on demonstrations, and up to date knowledge sharing on the newest skills and equipment for carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, area rug cleaning, hard surface floor cleaning and sealing and restoration, water damage restoration, fire damage restoration, mold remediation, trauma scene cleaning and more.
The Experience offers interactive demonstrations to give direct hands-on experience, cleaning and restoration companies need to succeed now and in the future. This is an opportunity to see, try out and learn about the latest and most advanced processes, techniques, equipment, and tools available in the Carpet and Restoration Industry today. Some of the demonstrations include Live Content Cleaning from the House that will be burned in the parking lot and Water Damage Restoration at the house that will be build and flooded during the show; Infrared Camera and Moisture Measurement; Area Rug Cleaning; Carpet Repair; Hard Surface Floor Cleaning;  Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning; Mold Remediation Processes; and Trauma Scene Cleaning and Bio Hazard Clean Up.

The ICRA is a non-profit organization of Cleaning, Restoration, and Inspection firms. It is comprised of 7 trade associations, including CRA(Cleaning and Restoration Association), MCRA(Midwest Cleaning and Restoration Association), MSPCA(Mid-South Professional Cleaners Association), NEIRC(New England Institute of Restoration and Cleaning), PACR(Professional Association of Cleaning and Restoration), NYRCI (New York Rug Cleaners Institute), and SCRT(Society of Cleaning and Restoration Technicians). These affiliate associations have united to streamline their administrative organizations, share resources to move the industry forward.  ABRA is the leading Association for the Bio Recovery and they have moved there national convention to The Experience.  This will be a great opportunity for all attendees to learn about this field and for ABRA members to learn about Cleaning and Restoration all with one registration fee. DKI will teach Business to Business skill for the Restoration Industry.  It is a great opportunity to learn from some additional leaders in the industry.
