CRA NorCal Golf Tournament - A Grand Ol' Time!
On Friday, October 4th, the CRA held its annual NorCal Golf Tournament at Eagle Vines Vineyards and Golf Club in beautiful Napa Valley. Playing on a full course, golfers were treated to food hole an
d drink hole sponsors who participated in Western-themed contests. A roasted pig head, a jailhouse, hay bales and moonshine, mustache bandits and saloon girls, spin-the-wagon wheel and more; hole sponsors went all out and a fun time was had by all. "Best Chuckwagon", and Drink Holes vied for the best themed hole and title of "Best Lil' Saloon". The Restoration Clean Up Company rode away with the Best Chuckwagon and the prize of a Broil-Mate 4 burner Gas Grill given by the CRA and golf committee members, Tom Swain of Servpro of Fairfield, Gabe Whitney of Eclipse Marketing and Insurance, and Marie Borders of Renew Systems. Best Lil' Saloon was awarded to the Easton Construction gang along with bottles of Vezer wine to celebrate. Contest results were based off of golfers' votes at the end of the tournament, and the vote for the runner up was very close. So close was the food hole winner, that an honorable mention must go to the runner up, Wingard Construction, who served ah-MAZ-ing barbequed pulled pork and sweet n' sour chicken skewers.
